B O N E S
welcome to my bone gallery -
You may be wondering, “Why does this chud like bones so much?”
Well, ever since I was a kid, I’ve been fascinated by them. After I broke my wrist in second grade and had x-rays taken from a nasty tumble, I completely fell in love with radiology. It felt like I had finally found my niche, something I was genuinely passionate about that nobody could take away from me. The combination of photography and anatomy visualization was the perfect blend of art, creativity, and the study and knowledge of the body. In fact, some of the radiographs in this collage are films I’ve taken myself.
During radiology school, just a few months before graduation, I suffered an unexplained back injury. After multiple scans and developing chronic pain that was hard to tolerate, I found out I had fractured ten vertebrae. That time in my life was filled with uncertainty, and honestly, there are still a lot of scary and worrying moments. I’m continuing to see doctors and specialists to figure out exactly what’s going on.
Ironically, this experience has also sparked a huge interest in the spine, especially the vertebrae. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
Aren't bones cool? Anatomy is fascinating!
